Vitamin C is an important antioxidant nutrient that helps neutralize free radicals which may cause cellular damage in the body. Vitamin C also supports a healthy immune system.* To help maintain the vitamin C level in your body each 21st Century® timed release C-500 capsule is designed to provide an initial release of approximately 200 mg of vitamin C within the first hour, then a release of 50-75 mg per hour for the next 4 to 5 hours.
