Oh, summer. If you have kids in your home, it’s the season of sunscreen, shuttling to and from activities, and perpetual snacking. You could spend hours in your kitchen each week crafting snacks that will get wolfed down quicker than you can say “use a napkin- not your sleeve!” Give these dark chocolate pretzel twists a try. They’re delicious, easy to make, and even easier to take on the go. Make a big batch and portion them out in sandwich baggies for ultimate summer convenience.

INGREDIENTS

  • 16 oz bag of your favorite pretzels
  • 48 oz bag chocolate of your choice
  • Parchment paper

PREPARE

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt your chocolate. You can melt it in the microwave by heating it for 30 second intervals and stirring well in between, or you can heat it on low heat on your stove top. Either way you choose, it’s important to heat the chocolate slowly and stir well to avoid scorching it.
  3. When the chocolate is melted, dip pretzels until they are coated to your liking. Place coated pretzels on parchment paper, and store in the fridge to harden. Enjoy!
